Weird SCIG site reaction

I need some help here, already called immuno and he thinks maybe its

infected, I've never seen anything like this in the 1.5 years we've been

doing SCIG, usually she has minor reactions. Last night was a major goof, I

hooked her up and she went to bed, went to unplug her around midnight (about

2 hours later) and discovered the syringe (tape holding it in place broke)

had jumped off the pump and none of the drug had been infused. Replaced the

syringe and put on fresh tape, 5 minutes later pump alarms and duh, I had

forgot to release the clamps after I had primed the tubing hours before.

Unclamped and restarted for a 3rd time and it went off without a hitch.

Pulled the sites around 1:30am and noticed one site had a small blanched

looking ring around it and put on band aids.

About 4pm today she takes off the band aids and shows me the sites, major

irritation from the tagaderms and one of the sites looks nasty. My camera is

having issues so the only thing I could do was get a video, any thoughts?

I'm taking her to the ER to get it look at but thought you guys may have

seen this before. She still has a bubble from the gamunex and its warm to

the touch every where the bubble is.

What do you think?

It looks infected to me. We've only had infection/cellulitis at the

injection site once-- My J was infused on a Sat and it was fine.. By

Monday, there was a red ring at the injection site and a pimple that

appeared to be filled with pus. He was already on an antibiotic that

covered skin infections, too!

Please let us know how it goes at the ER today. Sending up a prayer for

you!

Peace be with you,

Pattie
