Guest guest
Tristen (5, CVID) has been complaining of stomach aches for the past 9ish months. Her pedi did a huge workup of blood work to check for ulcers and other GI issues. They all seemed to come back normal. I thought maybe it was her meds, so I stopped her prophylactic antibiotics for a while and that didn't seem to help either. (she's back on her meds now). Then thought it was just motion sickness from the car, but she's been complaining all different times that her stomach hurts. It's always a different time of day too. She came home from school a week ago becuase her stomach hurt. So it's affecting her to the point she's missing school, won't eat, wants to just lay on the couch. It's not every day, but a few times a week she says it hurts. Any suggestions? I may go back to the GI dr, we saw him before she was diagnosed with CVID thinking reflux was causing her to be sick all the time. Thanks for any help! le mom to: Tristen 5: CVID Kaitlyn 8: healthy
