How much

SSDI a person can receive and still be eligible to receive SSI varies according to the state you live in. You may be eligible to receive an SSI check if your SSDI check is less than the SSI benefit for

your state, plus $20. In California, where the state supplements the federal SSI payment, the SSI benefit for a single disabled person is $830, so an SSDI recipient who receives less than $850 would be eligible to receive a supplemental SSI payment to bring them up to $850 in income, assuming they meet the SSI income and resource limits. The Federal SSI benefit amount for a single person is $674, so in states that don't supplement federal benefits, a person can receive an SSI supplemental payment if their SSDI income is less than $694. You can find out what the SSI benefit amount in your state is here: http://www.ssa.gov/ssi/text-benefits-ussi.htmIn order to be eligible to receive SSI, a disabled person must also meet the resource and income limits for that program.********************************

Does anyone know how much income you can get from SSA and still be eligible for SSI?
