Guest guest
On Sunday, Savannah (14, CVID) fell in the sand at the beach while horsing around with her boyfriend, tore up both her knees. We cleaned the abrasions out with soap and water, poured peroxide, covered in abx ointment. Last night she was complaining about knee pain, checked that knee out and there is a thin, red border around the knee abrasion that hurts the most. Even putting more abx ointment on it, very gently, seemed to hurt her. I have seen cellulitis, on a bigger scale....like covering a whole leg (not from an abrasion) and that kind of looked like a giant, quickly spreading sunburn. I have had cellulitis, but it was on my back, so I couldnt really see it. Im not sure what it might look like in the early stages, for instance, like just beginning around an abrasion. It is so easy to worry! valarie mom to 3 w/cvid
