I have used plastic beer brewing buckets and stainless steel in the past. I use

glass now only because my hubby bought me a lovely 2 gallon vessel. I don't see

what the problem is in trying different mediums. My resulting brews from metal

and plastic were the same as when I use glass in taste. Each to their own I

suppose haha!
