Guest guest
My cultures have been thriving since I got them about 3 months ago--baby scobys out the wah-zoo!!! I had to be away from home an my currently fermenting brews (3 gallons plus 3 separate scoby motels for all the other babies. Every bit of my kombucha supply was in that very corner of the storage area. While I was gone (the day prior to me return, my family unthinkingly set off a flea bomb about 4 feet away from my jars of fermenting KT without putting a plastic cover over them or putting them on a different floor of the house. Are my scobys contaminated beyond hope? I removed the ones on the top, praying that the poison spray had not soaked through the fabric. PLEASE ADVISE.
