Guest guest
Hello everyone! I want to put some minds to rest here. My son went to the Dr today and tested positive for type A Influenza. The ped is sending it to the CDC, but feels pretty confident that we have Swine Flu. It is not that bad! He came to me in the night at 1:30 last night and told me something is wrong, he hurts all over and doesn't feel right. I got up and for some reason felt his head-he had a fever! We haven't had a fever for 5 years! This morning it was 101.5, so we went in. By the time we got to the Dr it was 102.5. Here are the symptoms has: Fever, body aches, cough, sore throat, and chills. When his fever is down, all he has is the cough. It's a pain, but not horrible like we feared-more like a bad cold. At least he will be done before next week starts! We did his infusion tonight for secondary infections and started TamiFlu. It is really not as horrible as I feared. Hope this helps set some minds to rest.
