I don't know if I misunderstood it or if I just modified it a bit for myself though... I have been asking myself " If I eat/drink this, is it going to give me what I'm looking for? Will it truly satisfy me? " That has been huge for me. So much of my eating is mindless. I don't know if I will lose weight doing this, but it is definitely making me feel more satisfied. Yesterday for lunch I had a bowl of stewed zucchini. I felt like I still really wanted something afterwards. I spent a lot of time thinking about what I really wanted. A cup of Tahitian vanilla tea was what I wanted. Just a little sweetness. Then midafternoon I was really hungry. I went to the cafeteria at work and thought hard about my options. In the end I decided on some chocolate milk and some triscuits I had at my desk. I was sooooo satisfied! And I felt no regrets. It was quite a few calories, but there was protein and whole grains and vitamins and I felt pampered. LOL! by chocolate milk and triscuits...who knew?
