Hello everyone, I wanted to introduce myself. I'm a 28 year old New Yorker who

has always been chubby. To date, I'm 5'9 " and weigh 203. My heaviest weight was

228. For the last year and a half, I've bounced betweeen 196 and 207. A healthy

weight for my height is 160 and I would love to get down to that but I'm afraid

that I have a block. I've never been that weight, at least not at 5'9 " so I

don't know what I'll look like at that weight. I don't have a frame of

reference. I'm a curvy woman so I don't know if I'll have to lose my curves if I

get down to 160. love the shape of my body, but I know being overweight exposes

me to a heigtened risk of health problems. Diabetes runs in my family and I

refuse to be a pin cusion. I want to be the healthiest and foxiest woman I can

be. I stumbled on the Inside Out Weight Loss podcast and went to the website to

download each of the past episodes. I've purchased the IWOL workbook and have

skimmed through it. I've completed some of the written assignments but I'm going

to go back and take my time to let everything really sink in. Does the fact that

I've never been slender, always having a pudgy body standing in my way? Is the

fact that I can't create a clear picture in my mind of a trim and toned me

keeping me from achieving my goal?
