Guest guest Posted November 6, 2009 Report Share Posted November 6, 2009 From my understanding, normal IGE levels are 0-15. That normal range varies depending on what chart you look at of course. From what I have read, is that your body's IGE level elevates when the person is allergic to something. A person's body makes IGE if there is an allergy. So a low number, even 0 is excellent. this is coming from a mom that has a daughter with hyper ige syndrome, making way too much IGE, and she has food allergies and other allergies. So, I have spent some time trying to understand the function of IGE. But please do consult your doctor just to make sure that you have a medical opionion.
