Today was my LAST workout in the FIRM Three Month Bikini Bootcamp rotation (that took me almost 4 months to do)!!! It was Super Body Sculpt, a workout I did probably 3 or 4 times during the course of the rotation. I've commented on it before so I'll just say it went really well. There are 3 separate workouts that can all be used as one total body workout for 40 minutes, which is what I've done throughout and did today. When the 15 minute upper body workout ended I was surprised, it went so quickly it seemed! The 15 minute lower body was not nearly as quick seeming but it felt great. I tried using 15s (so 30 pounds total) for the leg presses but after 8 I thought I could probably get out 2 or 4 more and then I will die and that was only the first leg so I went down to 12s which is still more than I normally use. I went to 10s on the 2nd set toward the end of the workout because I was getting so winded and fatigued from how hard I'd been working throughout and wanted a break. I could have done 12 probably but I kind of enjoyed the break! The abs felt harder than they have before. I used the Fanny Lifter, which I've commented before seems worthless in this workout (for abs only) and I still feel that way but wanted to do it as it was produced just to see if my opinion had changed (last time I didn't use it). It didn't. The 10 minute abs workout is pretty good, but the FL mostly gets in the way. This wasn't a super hard workout, but I made it harder with mostly heavier weights and went out feeling great. I've already written about the fantastic results I've gotten from this rotation. I absolutely loved all of it. I am definitely a FIRM believer too! I am planning a yoga rotation for at least next week as I need some good stretching, less intense workouts and a mental break too (but could have kept going with the FIRM had the rotation not come to an end too, I was not bored at all). It will be a very busy week next week, as this was too, and the yoga will be good. I'm not sure what is after that but will plan it soon. I have many other kinds of workouts calling my name and I do want to answer them. Speaking of answering, it is 90+ degrees and the kids want help tying water balloons so I'm heading out to do that.

Happy Independence Day to the Americans, happy 4th day of July to everyone else!
