Guest guest
Hello, i can only speak for myself.I was born with all type of arthritis, and i am ever so thankful Kombuchas's ability, to minimize the pain, and have a better attitude for the day! I would start at the lower doses of 3-4 oz at a time..and see how he likes it. I think it is good to have it in the morning before meals at first. There are some medications that it may be good not to take it with, i think mostly antibiotics. If He wish to have more, and he likes it, i do not see any reason why not! You can have Kombucha before or after foods. Last nite i could not sleep and had it in the middle of the night, and put me at ease instant. It is important to remember however to drink lots of clean water to flush out toxins as Kombucha moves the toxins out of body, you need to remember to flush them out of system, and keep drinking water along, alternate. Hope this is helpful Luv Jahjet > > Hi everyone > > I am pretty new to this list and to kombucha brewing. My first batch is nearly ready. It's winter here and it's been brewing for 2 weeks. > > I read that kombucha is good for arthritis. My 80yo father has nasty arthritis which causes him a lot of pain. He has never had kombucha before and pretty much eats a normal diet, except I have got him onto milk kefir recently. I told him about kombucha and he would like to try it, but how much should he have, and when? Ie 3 times a day? With meals? On and empty stomach? 1st thing in the morning? What would a therapeutic dose be and how quickly should he work up to that? > > thanks! > > Emma >

Guest guest
Thank you! The hard thing will be convincing him to drink lots of water with it... he's not really a water drinker. Especially in winter. He drinks hot Ribena, tea, coffee, and a little milk kefir. Emma > > > > Hi everyone > > > > I am pretty new to this list and to kombucha brewing. Guest guest
Hello Emma! U can add Ribena to his kombucha tea (well not hot, just room temp )Smile.. Cold water is not good for one anyhow. I like my water room temp myself, with a few mint leaves or lemon slice in it! Luv Jahjet > > > > > > Hi everyone > > > > > > I am pretty new to this list and to kombucha brewing.
