School Psych Eval done....very strange report???

Just curious about what anyone might think of this. We just had a

school psych eval done. This is the second one that the school has

done on our 3 year 11 month old. The first one, we already had a

diagnosis of severe autism, PDD-NOS, and severe developmental delay

from a developmental ped. Throughout the first school eval the

school psychologist never mentions the word autism. Though the

second eval, done at my request, has throughout the eval.....Ian is

at the 97% percentile in fine motor skills when compared to other

children with autism.....Ian is at the 99% percentile in social

skills when compared to other children with autism.....Ian is at the

98% percentile in gross motor skills when compared to other children

with autism......

Has anyone ever seen this on an eval? I thought the idea was to

compare a child with a disability to a typically developing peer and

not one categorized with the same diagnosis.?

Our next IEP to go over this is Jan 3.

Any light shed from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
