Owing to cuts in the UK I am no longer able to get Acetylcarnitine on the NHS, I won't bore everyone with the details suffice to say that I am now being told that it has no proven clinical efficacy in order to justify removing it for financial reasons. So thank heavens for the New York Buyers club!, Buying a product made in the EU and having it sent from the USA is proving cheaper than buying it within the UK or even within the EU and by a very significant margin. I think there is enough evidence to show it works and works well for PLWHIV, especially those of us living with Neuropathy and/or who have lived with HIV for a long time and are no longer in the first flush of youth and prone to premature ageing.
