You don't need to do an " ABA " program at all to manage behaviors. The

ABA/VB intensive programs are designed for teaching language,

learning, and social skills. The principles of applied behavior

analysis can also be used to manage isolated behaviors as well. Mark

Durand, one of the developers of the Functional Behavior Analysis

paradigm also has a free on-line tool that will help determine which

of the 4 functions a behavior serves. Check it out

here:http://www2.monacoassociates.com/masontheweb/index.aspx

After you determine why you can develop an appropriate intervention.

Behavior Management experts can help you with just that problem or

develop an entire program, you don't have to go broke to get help.
