Good Evening, Vidiots!Tonite my friend Will came over for his first visit to Studio LouLou.  He's one of those gym people who can't believe I actually do workout videos, and I wanted to show him that they can be challenging, so to that end I put in another Turbo Fire virgin workout, this time HIIT 20.  It wasn't that much harder than HIIT 15, but the drills might have a tad more difficult choreography.

The first drill I only happened to catch on right away because it has a lot of the same components as the Turbo in Round 41.

You do the first drill twice:lunge, tap and jump x4, lunge tap and jack x4, repeat other side4 uppercuts, sumo burpee x4step and lunge/cross x4, then same thing but tap the floor x4

The second drill you also repeat twice:football runs narrow and widejump turn block x2, 2 jacksdouble squat jump x3, 2 jacks4 jacks, sumo lunge tap the floor

The third one you do three times:2 jacks, high knee runlunge tap the floor x4, 4 crosseshi lo r x4, plunge, then repeat leftthe last part I never could get right!  It's like knee up and hold 2 x2 then run for 4 but I kept getting it wrong so I just moved to the music and that worked fine :)

Will and I were both drenched in sweat, and we continued with 2 routines from Weber's new kettlebell dvd after that.  It was Will's first time doing kettlebells so I just wanted to do one 10 minute routine to give him a taste.  We did The Flow, which I've reviewed before, and then we did the core workout #1 at the end (the second core workout doesn't use a kettlebell).  The core workout in his first video is longer and better in my opinion, though he says at the end of this routine, " Do this three times a day and see what happens " .  instructs shirtless, has washboard abs, and I never get tired of looking at him :)

Now we were even more sweaty!  I wanted to be sure we got a good stretch after these 3 intense workouts - I'm never sure how people's backs will fare with kettlebells so I chose Yoga for Stress Relief, Practice for the SI Joint, which is 40 minutes long.  Love, love love this one!

Will did great and I think he will be back for more ;)  after our workout he went to the gym to go run on the treadmill!  With all this and the Esplanade Run today I got in 2 hours of exercise and I feel good! My friends and Marina are coming over tomorrow for kettlebells, this time we will do 4 routines from Weber's new dvd and end with Turbo Fire Stretch 40.
