Guest guest
I plan on living til I die as well. I get sick of people with Fibro/CFIDS and doctors saying that we can't do this and can't do that. I want a life without limititations and dammit I'll find a way to get there. It does make me sick when surgeons have to deny/dissuade life bettering surgeries so that they can protect their surgery stats. You think they would have come up with a better system of grading surgeons by now based on a the multitude of criteria that actually play into it=not just a simple mortality rate. But they have to protect their stats or they don't have patients, employers or insurance. So thats the way the game is played for now. And I really think its holding us back, especially in geriatric medicine. Off the soap box, a > > older americans expect MDs to treat their sports injuries... > > I love this..... > > http://www.boston.com/news/health/articles/2010/07/05/older_americans_are_as_act\ ive_as_ever_and_expecting_their_doctors_to_treat_their_injuries/ > > > > judy >
