Guest guest Posted May 2, 2010 Report Share Posted May 2, 2010 Sunday, May 2, 2010 week of 4/25-5/2 not sure where i left off since i didn't record anything from the 22nd to the 25th. sun 4/25-stephanie vitorino's workout doing the step only. i started the workout without the step but her combination lifts with no rest are killer and burn you out quickly. even using light weights my body was exhausted. that evening did exercise tvs abs/back workout from incredible abs dvd.mon 4/26 denise austin's pilates matwork #2. mix of yoga and pilates moves.pm was run at the gym and abs. 2x12@4lb stability ball crunches,ball twist crunches 2x12,reverse crunch 2x12@4lb ball, side crunches 2each sidex12,machine crunch 3x12@35,back ext machine 1x12@60,2x12@65,back ext with twist 2x12tues 4/27 denise austin's yoga body burn's lower body and stretch segments pm was women's health perfect body workout with amy dixoncore and more and yoga bonus stretchwed 4/28 was cathe's total body sculptthurs 4/29 workout escaped me fri 4/30- did a hill walk at the gym and total body workout based on some magazine workouts. four 10s is a little hard to describe i guess but its doing a crunch for 10 reps,then leg lowering for 10 reps then bringing both together for 10 reps and doing the move with a 10 count hold. balance deadlift on bosu 4x10@10lb dumbbells,3 way kick(front kick,side kick,back kick doing all counts as one rep) 2sets each side of 8 with tubing. this is a super balance challenge for me! all fours is a similar move to dead bug but with straight arms and legs and you work one side 2sets each side for 10 rep. push ups with knee in twists 3x10 there. step ups with shoulder presses on bosu 2 sets each side x12@7lb dumbbells. butt blasters 2 sets each side x15@5lb, ham curl machine 1x12@30 then 3x1040 (DOT) sat 5/1 i was sore in lots of spots so went lighter with quick fix yoga/pilates mix. did abs and lower body pilates and yoga flexsun 5/2 started with jillian's cosmo girl dance based workout. i was pretty close but its a pretty elaborate count choreography so i gave up once i couldn't even follow the breakdown. its one i would want to try again. she counts the beats but really two other girls are the leads in this. its a pretty good workout, i don't think she gets enough credit for trying new things. after that i knocked out another virgin workout. one i have wanted for awhile and finally gave up an old cathe dvd in a trade to get! cardio fight!!! cathe's MMA fusion can't touch this mostly mat based conditioning workout for MMA. it is super tough, when seeing the clips i though "hey great workout i bet it will work me out" WRONG IT FRICKEN KILLED ME! there are two workouts on this and i went with a rally(the other is drills) but OMG the amount of conditioning and strength you need to keep up with these guys and gals is WOO! there is a modifier keeping at a slower tempo etc but even then i was beat. but it was only 30 min and i fought as much as i could through it(hehehehe a pun). definitely worth giving up some unused cathe step workouts for this bad boy. i am determined to at least finish the reps even at half time at first!
