Art of Strength: Providence + Insanity - Pure Abs with

This morning came over and we did Art of Strength: Providence with DiLuglio.This was a fantastic workout!  It's set in Providence, RI, hence the title.  is outside in the city for this workout with techno music that borderlined on being almost like retro video game music in parts.

and I both noted that really has no personality in this one.  He barely smiles, says what you do and that's it.  He is nice to look at, however, so I see why you like him :)You do 15 rounds after the brief warmup, and each round is 2 minutes long.  You get a one minute break in between:

1) swings - double hand, single arm, then hand to hand2) Cleans - 5,4,3,2,1d3) One arm chest presses - 5,4,3,2,14) Squats and Sumo Deadlifts5) 1 legged deadlifts (very hard for me)6) Windmill with an overhead squat

7) Clean and press, 5,4,3,2,18) Flip, Hi Pull & Squat - super fun, hadn't done that one before!9) tactical lunges - heart rate skyrocketed in this one!  fun and hard!10) bicep curls, overhead tricep extensions all in one move, then 30 seconds of each, then both combined again

11) Figure 8's and slingshots12) seated presses (my shoulders now are toast) 5,4,3,2,113) 1 armed rows 5,4,3,2,114) abs- kbell pullovers, russian twists, Sicilian crunches (easy overall)15 BONUS:  3 minutes of snatches, 5 each side, switch

My body was shaking after this.  But because the abs weren't very hard ( Weber's are way better) had the idea of doing Shaun T's Pure Abs from Insanity.  I love how pushes me and gets me out of my comfort zone! 

I had to use the rebounder for part of it - this is not a foot friendly workout, but can totally be modified with the rebounder, no problem!  The first half of the 15 minute workout is plyometric type stuff, jump tucks, high knee run in place, etc. then on the mat you do " push-outs " with your legs, then lift them both up at the same time, then down. More russian twists like we did earlier with , plank work, and a stretch at the end for the abs.

Shaun T. is pretty subdued in this compared to his Cutie Pie self in Hip Hop Abs.  He's not " mean " or anything in this, but his tone keeps with the intensity of this workout.  Wow, 15 minutes of Insanity was really hard!  You have to take breaks but the workout just keeps on going, boom boom boom boom. 

When left I got my mail and  in my mailbox was ROUND 40!  I'm so excited, I will learn all I can for tomorrow, probably just through Turbo or if nothing else, the first 3 sections (Turbo is always the hardest part to learn).

Tressia is coming over later and we are going for a walk through Mt. Tabor.  It's too nice to be inside!
