Guest guest Posted April 10, 2010 Report Share Posted April 10, 2010 I just listened to the series on abundance (Gain money, lose weight). As with many other episodes, it struck a nerve. Last Wednesday I did not bring my lunch to work as I usually do. So, I went to pick up something, I was in the mood for a salad. I was not overwhelmed by the selection, but found a little box with bulgur salad, lettuce and chicken. But then I was afraid it might not be enough. So, I bought a wrap as well. I intended to put it in the fridge so it would be there if I was still hungry. Nice try! I ate both and felt bad afterwards. In the redo, I would not buy the wrap. The store is open until late afternoon, I could have always gone and get more in case I got hungry again. So, now I am working on my anchor to get through these episodes and remind myself that there will always be food available. Another time when I have " trust " issues is when I want to self correct and tell myself I could skip dinner if I am not hungry. I found that that sends me into a tail spin... I just read the last paragraph. Maybe it's because I stated it in the negative! Next time, I set the intent to eat dinner when and if I am hungry. Give that a try!
