I've been listening to the podcast for a few weeks, sometimes several episodes

in a day, during my drive time and workout time. Today, after going to the YMCA

at lunchtime and working out, I came back to work and heated up my lunch. I

didn't sit in front of my computer, didn't read, or anything else, I just

focused on eating and how it felt. When I was done, I was still hungry...a

little disappointed in the size of the lunch I had prepared for today.

So, I stopped by the candy dish. Instead of grabbing a handfull, I carefully

selected 3 small pieces of candy, made myself some hot tea, and sat down to

enjoy the candy. The second piece was so good that I decided not to eat the

third piece. I finished my tea, and got back to work.

This is beginning to feel like freedom.
