Yes a, I meant to reply to your no vino post - I'm done with vino for awhile too!  Tuesday I have Noel, Wed I'm taking my friend Sam's class at the gym because what better way to learning R40 than live!

We can do it!  A la Regan - just say no!  *L*

Wow, you must be feeling like a million dollars (other than that shoulder, of course)?

Continue the great work!  Heal up shoulder!

I took today as a rest day. My left shoulder is a bit wonky and I'm tight overall from lifting heavy this week and I want to be in top form for teaching tomorrow.  Eating has been very good this week, and I'm on day 9 of the no drinking spree so my energy is much more balanced.  I'm down to 185, 30 lbs lost total from October.

Next week I need to rest my shoulder, so I will go out of order on CLX since the next one, Push Circuit 2 is shoulder focused.  I would like to do the other CLX workouts that I haven't done in ages such as Burn Intervals and Burn It Off, and there's another one on disc 7 I haven't even watched, not to mention the 3 ab workouts.  I will keep plenty busy!

I'm counting down the days til June 15th when I can train with Noel again and see him twice a week, because then I will REALLY get cut! On my own I can tone, but with Noel I can BUILD.

Great workouts, . Sorry to hear about the shoulder, I hope it heals up quickly.

And, awesome job on staying away from the vino!

Hugs!  It's so frustrating to have an injury when there are many workouts to be done! Rest is key to healing though..grrrrHere's to a new week!On Sun, May 2, 2010 at 6:54 PM, <nancydewolf@...> wrote:

Hi Everyone,

Today was my regular active/rest day. So, I did my usual - a recorded Classical Stretch episode. I did one from the 2009 series (my PBS station carries them) and it was a standing workout for posture. I did it not too long ago and I saved it on my DVR b/c I liked it so much. Since then, I have been in the middle of housework max. It is raining today (first time in a month!) and I'm feeling domestic. I want to do some decluttering, so I better strike while the iron is hot! DD and I are also going to bake a "wacky cake" (it is cooking meets science experiment - you use vinegar and baking soda in the recipe to demonstrate how acids and bases intereact - it makes a nice chocolate cake, too!)

Anyway, here's my week in review:

Sunday - Montenegro Method (MM) Strength # 3 (Core), Family Walk/Hike (I may have done something else, but I don't remember!!) Oh - I think I did Kries' Waking Energy Standing

Monday - MM Endurance Workout # 2, 1 mile on the TM (1/2 before, 1/2 after), Kries Yin Yoga Segment

Tuesday - Margaret - All My Best Volume 1 - (both segments), I may also have done some Classical Stretch, but I can't recall!

Wed - Sick! Kries Waking Energy Seated

Thurs - MM Power Workout (all three strength segments), Aligned & Well Back Biomechanics

Friday - MM Endurance # 2, 1 Mile on the TM (1/2 before, 1/2 after), stretching on my own

More MM workouts up for the coming week! Tomorrow I'll do Strength # 1 - Upper Body (this one is short - only 20 minutes, if that - so I'll add on - maybe some Pilates...maybe a walk....) Actually, a 1/2 mile before and 1/2 milea fter is probably in order since these have no warm-ups or cool-downs and walking an extra mile a day never hurt anyone.

Take care!Donna
