Colyn Woods. Prayers please

Everyone, I'm sure many of you know Patty Woods, she is a frequent

contributor to this group as well as many others as a result of her

son, Colyn. I am deeply saddened to pass along the news that Colyn

died yesterday at the age of 15. As you may remember, Colyn had PI as

well as a mitochondrial disorder. I don't know all the details, but I

know he was hospitalized Tuesday after getting sick on Monday, at some

point he was place on a vent and he died yesterday before doctors

could figure out exactly what was going on. Please keep Patty, her

husband Darrell, and their four additional children, Alyssa, ,

Kayla, and Brittney in your thoughts and prayers, as well as Alyssa's

husband and son.

I'm sure at some point Patty will have the opportunity to read here,

if you want to leave a message of support. My husband talked to

Darrell last night (we are close friends and and Darrell work

together) and he said the family is hanging in there, that they were

able to spend last evening sharing memories, laughing, crying and

comforting each other. Patty and Darrell have a very deep faith, and

I'm sure would appreciate any prayers, pray lists or any other

positive thoughts sent their way.
