Guest guest
We don't tell our daughter that she eats too much that much. We will tell her that it's ok to still be hungry, but that she needs to balance her foods so they aren t so dense with calories. She has a tummy to fill and if she is hungry, she should eat. It's WHAT she is eating that we have a problem with. She ate a bag of cookies and a small bag of Maltesers on Saturday. (I was working and my husband doesn't pay as much attention to the kids as he should) I hear that you are all saying that you have to be careful what you say to your kids. I agree. My mother never said anything and I ended up fat anyway. I was always competing with my brother, even in weight and size as a kid (I am 2 years younger). How dumb is that?! I wish my parents had taught me better nutrition.
