Growth in bottled KT

Hi, all, when my KT is done to my taste I filter and bottle it in a carafe type

jar. I do like my KT cold so in the fridge it goes. After not drinking for a

few days I just poured some and a " blob " dropped into the glass. Sounds gross

but I can only describe is as " snot-like " . Normally that texture would have me

filter it out but I drank it to see what happens (I love being my own guinea

pig). There is also more in the carafe. Anyone know what it is? Should I

filter it or drink it? thanks again
