Guest guest
Awesome news about aches and pains abating! Donna, is this the only chiro you've tried? Just curious. It seems like it's taken awhile to get you to this point, but I know nothing about chiropractic practices, maybe it typically does take this long for aches and pains to go away? I like to move in some fashion or another every day too, even if it's just the bridge walk. It helps clear my head and make me feel alive. I hope it's not raining this afternoon so I can walk during lunch but it's looking to be another wet day. Tonite is legs with Noel so I should be able to almost walk by Sunday, and I'd like to do a long yoga practice. Oh, speaking of, I downloaded 30 episodes of what looks to be russian yoga tv episodes? The writing in the beginning looks russian, and OMG the opening scenes of the two instructors are Cirque de Soleil type poses! WOW! More advanced than anything I've ever seen before! Luckily the actual practice they do with their class / us is " regular " yoga. It's in another language which I'm assuming is russian but I could be wrong. You don't need to know what they are saying to follow along as long as you've done yoga before and know the poses already. They look good and I'd like to try them soon, maybe this Sunday. I believe they are an hour long each. On Thu, Jun 10, 2010 at 4:08 AM, Donna M-P <donna112520@...> wrote: Hi Everyone, today was a day when I didn't want to workout! I was tired, cranky, headachey. You name it. I thinki it is work stress and the headache is from the rain we had yesterday. But, feeling a bit better today. I did Liz Gillies Pilates - I can't remember the title of the workout - but it is the one that has a series of standing Pilates/light cardio followed by reformer inspired matwork. I definately was not on the top of my game this morning and was " off " for the whole thing. Oh well - tomorrow is another day. What is nice about this one is it isn't the same-old mat sequence. The standing moves and the matwork that features " reformer type " exercises makes it a little different. Tomorrow I will do either strength, cardio or a circuit! I think on Saturday I will do a " real " workout as opposed to just my usual stretching since we're having houseguests and I won't be able to workout on Sunday or Monday - unless I workout in the kitchen again - which I just may! The kitchen works great for stretching, Pilates, something that doesn't take up much space! I really do like to move every day - even if it is stretching b/c my back and everything just feel so much better when I move. Did I mention that since my chiro is working more on my upper/mid back that just about all of my aches and pains are gone? Take care!Donna
