Hi

I thought I would post this in case what I have found helps me, helps someone

else. I do around 20-30 minutes of yoga every morning, unless I have a very

early start. I have to get up earlier to do it, but have found I can do this,

while I struggled to get up to go to the gym, because I want to do it and feel

the benefit. Even if I am tired or haven't had enough sleep, I know the time

spent on yoga will restore me, more than other 20 minutes in bed.

While yoga is not calorie burning excercise, it has helped me become much more

flexible physically - something that matters more to me as I age, than muscle

tone. Yoga is also calming and a lovely way to start each day - it requires

practically no equipment and little space.

In IOWL terms it helps me in a number of ways. I have found it helps set my

intent for the day - whether simply just that today is going to be positive day,

or gives me space to prepare for a specific challenge. It is also helping me as

a level 1 self-correction every day -it literally puts me back into balance

before I launch off into the whirlwind of a day. It is also me taking care of

myself first, so what ever happens in the rest of the day, I have already had

some guaranteed personal investment time.

I know yoga isn't for everyone, but I thought I would mention it, as it is

working for me on so many levels, that something of this may connect with

others.

Love to all

Viv
