Guest guest
Having a little trouble of my own with wasps. Last year, several built a nest in the space between the storm door and front door, a gap of about 6 inches. Wasps are back this year. In the last 2 weeks I have killed at least 7 of them trying to build a nest in there. I don't know what it is, but they never showed an interest in that spot until last year. Now I pretty much have to stealthily open the door and check to make sure there aren't any wasps out there. Still, I check several times per day and kill them when I catch them. I wonder if there is a place to park some to deter them! ~ Thanks for the tip. I could probably work out something. AOL now offers free email to everyone. Make sure you fill it at night when they are sleeping so you don't get stung. That should deter them from building in that area. Beth Co-administrator Actually they are building right in the open. The latest bunch was trying to build a nest on the inside of the storm door itself. I think there may be others trying to build nests in the bushes in front of the house, but I'm not sure about that.
