Guest guest
Hi all I am pleased to announce that Wertz will be presenting the Growing Minds course in the Premier Inn in Cardiff, Wales, UK from Tuesday 9th November to Friday 12th November. I can also confirm that we are extending the early bird discount rate of £445 (equivalent of a 4 day course) to 13th October, which means you have 1 week from now to register to pay the discounted price. Due to the current economic climate the group of parents on the course is going to much smaller than the usual group of 30-40 parents. This offers an unusual and exciting opportunity in that will be able to provide a much higher level of individual attention and input. I know that a few people have enquired about a payment plan and I can confirm that we will consider a payment plan if necessary, which will consist of half of the cost being payable on registering and half the remaining cost is then payable one week before the course. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to sponsor this course because I know the difference Growing Minds has made to our son, our programme and our lives. When we first met , Luke was wearing no clothes, had very few words, was very controlling and just didn’t seem to be progressing. Growing Minds utilise a range of therapies that best meet the child’s needs. For us, the results have been truely amazing. Luke is now in mainstream school (on a part-time basis) with support, his language has progressed extensively and we can now have typical conversations. He is excellent at maths, geography, Welsh, reading and ICT. He loves to play with his friends and sister. He is curious about the world and is busy filling in all the gaps he has in his understanding from his slow start. Only this week he asked me, What’s the opposite of nocturnal?? (... thank goodness for Google!) He used to be so shy with people, probably because he had little confidence, and he used to use me to hide behind when people came into the room. His confidence and self esteem have developed significantly over time, and he is so much happier for it. Quote from za, parent in Swansea: I would strongly urge new parents to consider this course, growing minds have helped us create a very successful programme for our child. They have helped us enormously with speech (he has gone from non-verbal to verbal), behaviours, learning, integrating into mainstream school, executive functioning issues etc. They combine relationship based programmes (sonrise, rdi etc) with ABA/VB. they are outstanding, very good value for money! Quote from parent in Nottingham: They are absolutely wonderful - if we hadn't already done two intensives and one three day course with them we'd be there. We've also done Son Rise which was also really great but it was GM that gave us the structure we needed. They're a very small company - you're paying for their incredible experience in what is a two/three man band. I really recommend them.
