Guest guest
woooooooooooooooo you go girl! List guidelines Good golly what a week -- on the SeekingJoyinDisability list that I facilitate - I have a train wreck waiting to happen on the threads of gay marriage. On the autism-awareness-action list that I facilitate I have the Bush/Kerry fiasco going on - and on Autism Treatment I have The Learning Repertoire.... I guess I need to create a CalgonTakeMeAwaylist! Seriously --- I WELCOME comments from both sides --- parents need to know about public and private agencies. That is how we get our information --- from other dedicated parents sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly. We have to trust that the poster is being honest.... What my intent was - is to caution the list to not get in a back and forth dialogue between just a few people hashing out over and over the Learning Repertoire situation. A parent posted her view - the management posted theirs --- it is up to parents to now check it out and decide. I've had 2 posts from management I assume at the learning repertoire wanting to join the list -- I'm sure just to spy. I 1,000% agree that those professionals on this list need to know that parents watch each other's back. If you try to hide something as an establishment -- sooner or later it will be known. I think that is a great motivator for all agencies to do their best for our kids. That is the most impressive thing I have learned about parents of children with disability --- that they are there for each other! I just don't want this list to train wreck into a personal vendetta between the two. Is that clear as mud? Sincerely, Guppy M.
