Dear Families and Friends: The Cherokee Spectrum Support Group, a support group for families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, will meet on Thursday, September 14th at 6:45 pm. The meeting will be held at 335 Parkway 575, Suite 220, Woodstock, GA 30118, near I-575 and Hwy 92. The guest speaker will be Lou Harding. The topic will be "Real Employment - Making Dreams Come True." Lou Harding has worked in the field of disabilities for 16 years and is currently the region director of the Cobb/ region of Briggs & Associates. She has worked with Briggs for eight years, serving as an employment specialist and a region lead in three different regions in the company. Briggs & Associates is a company that has been in business for 18 years that helps people with developmental disabilities, psychiatric disabilities and autism fulfill their dreams of employment in their commun ities.
