Guest guest
My children start school tomorrow and I have alot of anxiety about this. Not only am I worried about the " normal " sickness that we battle each year, I am concerned about Swine Flu. I am not panicky hysterical about it, but I am worried. Even if it is no worse than the regular flu, that is still bad for my daughter. She missed a month of school when she got influenza a year or so ago and it was hard on her to recover. I'm sure there will be cases at her school this fall and I don't think they will close unless it gets really bad. Do you all have plans for this if it happens at your child's school? Will you take them out? What about siblings? My other daughter is starting kindergarten, so that is another issue. Do I take her out, too? What about the vaccine? The immuno doc said she should get it when it is available. I have separate worries about that!!! Basically, I'm a big case of worry right now! Summer is by far our best time of year and then it goes soooo fast it seems! Any advice? Grace is 10 and starting middle school this year. New building, new teachers, new nurse, etc.
