My husband just switched jobs and we will have 10 days without medical coverage (we didn't realize this until he started the job that insurance didn't start for a month after hire). I'm wondering what to do about the 1 week we won't be covered. What will happen if Tristen misses 1 week of infusions? Should I spend the $1100 for the month of cobra for the 10 days? Should I just pay for the 1 week of infusion meds? I do have an appt with her immuno on Friday to discuss this and see what he says, but was just wondering if anyone has skipped a week of infusions and what that would cause.
