I am wanting to start biocidin with my daughter(she has rett syndrome) for some bacterial overgrowth. First attempted to try natural antimicrobial given to us by her integrative medicine doctor called GI Microb X but since she can't swallow capsules we opened it and tried to mix with various things but the taste is horendous (like dirt) and burns in the mouth so not able to use it. He hasn't heard of Biocidin before but is familiar with ingredients. I heard about it from another rett parent. I have looked at the product website. Do you know if I can order on my own or only with prescription? Also would love to hear if this product was effective for others or lots of downsides.
