In honor of Autism Awareness Month, A.S.C.E.N.D.-ER, Inc. proudly presents

Autism Spectrum Disorders 101, April 15th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Our

meetings are held at Parkway Presbyterian Church on Bethelview Road in

Cumming, Georgia. This useful and interesting talk will be presented by our

own Dr. Sue . It will provide a review of the criteria for diagnosing

the various forms of autism, diagnostic procedures, symptoms including

sensory issues, and strategies for overcoming the challenges these

difficulties present, particularly in the school setting. Parents are

strongly encouraged to invite other family members, teachers, therapists, or

other professionals involved in their child's care. As an added incentive

for our teachers and school professionals to attend, we will be offering

school supply baskets as door prizes especially for those school

professionals. Teachers and other school professionals only will need to

register either by calling 678-300-8687 or by e-mailing info@....

Those professional attendees who both register and attend the meeting will

be placed in a drawing for these three lovely baskets. So be sure to invite

your teacher!
