Hi ,

Forgot to add - re: your TM run - why not try the Couch to 5K program? It really does get you running non-stop for about 30 minutes by the end of it. Although I do recommend running both outdoors and on a TM to get the most benefits for your race - since the race is outside, it is good to train outside as well as inside. I keep thinking once spring comes I will try this again - and will run on the TM sometimes and outside sometimes. I think the schedule has you running 3X per week. So I would do maybe 2 TM runs/1 outdoor run or 2 outdoor runs/1 TM run depending on weather, sunlight and time.
