Guest guest
I love this workout! Long leads it and does a great job. It is a cardio + sculpt/tortoise workout (75% weights/25% cardio). The cardio in it is super simple, no combinations or anything like that, just the way I like my cardio. I haven't done this one in a long time and was surprised at how "easy" it seemed compared to what it was like when I first did it. I did my own "FIRM" challenge a couple of years ago, where I decided to do one FIRM workout 10 times over no more than 2 or 3 weeks to see if you really did get "visible results in just 10 workouts" and chose this one as the one I'd use (I don't even know why I chose this one but I did). Darned if I didn't see visible results even before those 10 workouts were done! I was trying to prove it wrong but they were right! I've been hooked on their workouts ever since. I was surprised by how much I remembered about this workout, my muscles did a lot of it from memory! I think though, that I need to go heavier on a lot of the exercises. I used 8s, 6s, 4s and for one shoulder exercise, 3s. I think I'm going to try 10s for heavy weights on the next workout, even on the leg presses, 7s for medium and either 4s or 5s for light. 4s are still pretty good for most shoulder work. Now I'm hanging out waiting for a repair guy to check out my washing machine. I put a sleeping bag in it yesterday that was apparently too big and now the washing machine is making horrible noises as it moves. I hope it is just needing to be balanced and that I didn't do any serious damage! I caught it just after it started making the noises. The guy should be here in the next 45 minutes. I'm glad I got my workout in when I did (just a little while ago) because I'd been told to expect him in the afternoon but I'm not complaining, earlier is better.
