Guest guest
We have an upcoming appointment with Dr. in Austin. We heard mixed reviews concerning his testing and treatment. Any first hand information would be very much appreciated. Thank You
Guest guest
Hey ....we are into our first month of treatment for our two boys. So far, so good. We return in Nov for a reevaulation and blood work for heavy metals. Dr. S is a very straightforward and personable. We are seeing improvements in speech, balance and focus. We, like most parents, are cautiously optimistic but have been very pleased so far. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Guest guest
We went for 7 months; saw no change in our son. This was with the antiviral and patch. I'm disappointed because on our first visit he said he would bring our son to a more age appropriate level. He should never have stated such a prognosis. Good Luck! Any information on Dr. >Date: Mon, 30 Aug 2004 18:18:39 -0500 > >We have an upcoming appointment with Dr. in Austin. We heard mixed >reviews concerning his testing and treatment. I am very leery of any doctor who tells me they can recover my child. I don't mean to sound like I am chastising you, because I am not. I have heard others say this same thing. But I can't help but wonder what you do expect from any doctor. Of course, I am very skeptical. But what attracted me to Dr. was the fact that he is so optimistic for our kids. I was and am sooo tired of doctors who say nothing can be done, don't get your hopes up. I had heard this so many times from so many doctors. One thing that Dr. said to me that always sticks out in my mind is, " We might as well try. " I like that attitude. Having said all that, we are not currently seeing Dr. because we are out of money and I am 5 months pregnant. But when I go back to work, we will definately be back to see him. Hopefully by then, he will know more about how to help our kids. I am really not picking on you. I just can't help but wonder, if you are leery of doctors who say they can help your child, why do you keep going to more doctors?
