Great job, Kassia! I like those Total Yoga workouts, I remember "Fire" being particularly challenging!

last night i did total yoga earth.i was going to trade these dvds b/c they are long workouts that i never seem to fit in my rotations. i love these practices b/c each one is different to its element. earth is grounding, relaxing and stretching with sun salutations, standing poses and mat work stretches with a long savasana. they teach in progression starting with a variation and moving up in level as you go through the workout.a nice way to either keep at a lighter level or go up. this one is sun salutation to death and each one changes so its slight variety kept me in tuned and focused. this morning i did denise austin's 3 week bootcamp the WHOLE thing this time. the first time i only did the athletic kettlebell inspired segment, which was a good one. the first

segment which is only cardio/weight intervals isn't as tough as athletic but really good. the first few minutes you think it will be easy but she just keeps going. very little resting to set up here,so her cues will be quick on you but its so simple you jump back in. usually you do two rounds of a cardio segment b/c it will be on either side with a plyometric segment thrown in. the weights are short upper/lower combination lifts but will keep you cardio focused. after doing this the athletic training one was a little tougher to get through,go figure but i managed. i changed the weight selection a few times. being i am so used to the kettlebells some of the work with the dumbbells were to light while others were cardio paced so i went lighter. overall i still love this one and she did a good job with the exercises unlike others that have jumped on the kettlebell bandwagon. then there was the 6 min bonus ab routines using light weight. again some

kettlebell inspired work, planks, and balance. nothing different then i have seen but very nice coming from denise where its just challenging enough but not to hard to kill ya! feeling good i wanted to keep it going. i again went with a denise workout i use for add-ons, the 5 minute target toners. i found this one cheap and its been worth it so far. the upper body segments(each broken into 5 min workouts for chest/back/shoulder s/arms)are very quick so no going to heavy here. almost barre like feels to it at times but totally exhausted me. the lower body work is new to me for this dvd. i loved the workouts on this b/c its fused traditional, pilates, yoga, and even a scent of barre exercises in there. they were quick combined and worked together real well. almost a nice flow for the workouts so there is no excuse to not get

something in. the workouts were broken into bun lifters, thigh slimmer, inner thighs, and hips. she moves quick b/c little time to waste here but you will catch on to it. now that i am completely exhausted i have to get some lunch and get these trades mailed out :-0.LDY_SOLANA'S fITNESS BLOGLDY_SOLANA'S WEBPAGE
