Guest guest
Hi, We are still in the seemingly never-ending process of immune testing. So far all of my son's titers that were initially low look good. He has a history of severe infections and lots of allergies. He had his tonsils and adenoids out in Sept. and has been healthy enough to get back to school just this October. So far the one thing that keeps coming up in his bloodwork is neutropenia. His total ANC is 992 and his WBC is 3.2 I'm waiting on the rest of the primary immune deficiency panel results. He is very thin and pale and didn't need any new winter clothes this year, everything still fits him - OK, actually the nurse just called and Jimmy's numbers are as follows: B-cells 313 T-cells 454 NK - 203 She said two of these were borderline low and we need to retest in a month to see if they go higher (?) They initially had me keep him home from school until we knew what was going on with him, but she said he can be in school and that there are no restrictions for him right now. Does anyone have any input on these numbers? Thanks! Mom to Jimmy, almost 8 years old.
