Guest guest
Hi Kristy,  It is nearly impossible to donate or get enough donors to create even one dose worth of treatment. It takes approximately 10,000 donations to make one dose of IVIG. I learned that after I contacted our blood bank and immunologists office asking the same thing. How old is your kiddo?  Heidi From: Kristy <k_princess15@...> Subject: IVIG Treatment & Donating Blood Date: Thursday, December 3, 2009, 11:46 AM  I have a son that there is a really good chance the doctor will start him on the IVIG Treatments soon. I heard that if you can get people to dontate blood in his name that it can reduce the cost of the treatment. Has anybody done this or have heard of this? Thanks Kristy
