Guest guest
I agree with eveyone on this, it is an option, you have every right to chose it, and it doesnt matter that no one in their office does it, they will work with a company, like acreedo or bio rx etc... that will set it all up, and you only have to do the first one in the office and their nurse will come and can teach them so they know more about it, this is what my Dr had to do then, the nurses come and teach you at home, then soon you are on your own, and it is soooo easy once you get the hang of it! Your Doctor is way wrong, as their are little to no side effects on subq compared to the IVIG, because by doing it weekly you are keeping a more slow, yet constant level, when they do IVIG every 3-4 weeks, think about it, they are slamming a whole months worth in your body, hence the side effects of dealing with that...then as you know, you start to have side effects right before you are due because your body knows its levels are at a low, this does NOT happen with subq. Please push for it, it CAN be done, it may be what you have needed all along good luck and please keep us posted!!
