Ok well seen the shoe was cut had gash in it (didn't feel no pain figured just cut my shoe).Took my shoe off seen my sock was full blood(still no pain thought heh just small little cut no biggie). Not until I got my sock off and seen my big toe hanging by just the skin then was Freak-out and instant pain lol.Exactly how long does the pain go away when he hypnotizes these folks do you know or did he say?Take care. d.Canada Hypnosis & Pain Management Hi guys, There is a daily morning tv program here (England, UK) called 'This Morning' and on it they had one of our best hypnotherapists McKenna on the show. says that pain is only a message to the brain and it can be turned up or down, a bit like turning a tap so that more or less water comes out. His challenge was a cancer patient who couldnt even put her own socks on due to so much pain. She said on a scale of 1-10 (10 being highest) most her days was 9-10. 's challenge was to basically take as much pain away for her as possible. To cut a long story, about 2 hours later she was able to stand up and was over the moon. Her pain was significantly less and whats more, she was able to turn the pain up or down independently. It's made me think that maybe it's possible to completely take away our pain via this method. It wouldnt solve the cause but we wouldnt have the pain! Guest guest
Hi , Yes, he said that the pain will vary throughout the day, but he said it won't get as bad as it was before. The thing is he () showed her (patient) how to deal with the pain in the future. So it wasnt just one session that lasts a few days, its something she can use now for the rest of her life. I'm not completely sure as to why he can't do it with everyone - I'm sure he could if he was allowed, but maybe there are some rules holding him back. Guest guest
I have seen few hypnotists ,and some people just cant be hypnotized thats probally the reason.Just out of curiousity, I asked one the guys in the bar who was hypnotized(was a peanut salesman lol and had no paenuts to sell get your hot peanuts here lol).Anyways he said he knew what he was doing but didnt have the power to stop it ,so even he wasnt as deeply hypnotized think it depends on the person.Take care. d.Canada Hypnosis & Pain Management Hi guys, There is a daily morning tv program here (England, UK) called 'This Morning' and on it they had one of our best hypnotherapists McKenna on the show. says that pain is only a message to the brain and it can be turned up or down, a bit like turning a tap so that more or less water comes out.
