Guest guest
Yes Mandi With Tatijana, we got the low level DLA because of the additional costs we incur because she is unable to access things like her peer group. Her Seizures mean she cannot use local transport and cannot go around town independently.. she needs support . The school got nothing and we have not ever had anything towards her schooling I think anything like this would have to come from some sort of educational statement... where very little is gifted to children in need. Does anyone think this might make us eligible to claim DLA for him or something similar? He needs support (which is why he's in a small private school) but he's going to need more help transitioning to secondary and we're skint. I wondered if anyone else had a kid " on the cusp " and what they'd been able to access.
