I'm thrilled you got the referral you wanted and needed and a ped that will listen and help. This is awesome!!! I'm equally thrilled that you got to really stick it to the other ped - she had it coming! Let us know how the appt with the specialist goes. I took her to the new dr today and he gave me a referral, not only b/c I wanted one but b/c he thinks she needs to see a specialist too! Just to be a b!tch I called the head of pediatrics back to tell her I got a referral from a different doctor who Sarai ISN'T an established patient with! When I spoke to her this AM, I was very nice to her. This afternoon when I spoke to her, I wasn't nice. I told her everything that Dr. LaTorre said to me and how I felt about it. I told her I think it's all about money and not about my daugther,that I have been bringing my children there on and off for 6 years.(more on) I told her the dr had NO right to deny me, b/c my ins company said so. I asked her how is it going to look onDr.LaTorre's record when I pull 5 kids out of that practice b/c she denied me a referral.. she said not too good. I told her that I don't want to leave there, but I will! I'm really starting to hate doctors!She said she is going to have a long talk with this so called doctor.I have an appt on September 12, to see the pediatric orthopedic specialist.
