I was as " chilled " as much as possible. I initially refused a shot of Versed, because I felt I didn't need it. It wasn't until I was moved from outpatient to pre-op that I started getting anxious. I finally asked the nurse anesthetist for some Versed in pre-op. I was somewhat in a daze when they moved me to the surgical suite. I re-call taking 3 breaths when they put the mask on my face... that's it. Next thing I recall is them moving me to the hospital bed and my mouth was EXTREMELY dry. Good luck.
