Guest guest Posted April 5, 2010 Report Share Posted April 5, 2010 I have to do this super quickly, gotta get to bed, super tired and have to be to work at 6:30 AM tomorrow. I didn't plan to workout today but managed to make time for the scheduled workout, Super Body Sculpt. This was my 2nd time through it and I felt super comfortable with it today. Miriam decided to do it with me too! Luckily she stayed behind me through most of it because I would have been correcting her form more than doing my own workout most of the time! I told her the only thing she couldn't do was the work on the 14" fanny lifter because I didn't want to set up my transFIRMer for her or me (plus, there's no way that kid was going to climb a 14" step anyway). She was cute and did all of the workout in her own special way! I did it my own special way too (which is not so special since this wasn't cardio and I could follow it perfectly). My special way today though was to use heavier weights than before. I used 10s for heavy, 8s for medium and 5s for light. Loved it that way! Did all 3 parts and the warmups for each (upper, lower & abs). The leg presses were killers with the 10s. The seated upper body, doing biceps curls with 10s was really hard too but it all felt great. Whole workout went really well and I'm so glad I did it. The abs work is still weird and I really need to remember to kick the step away next time. I would have this time but Miss M was using it too! It is just a gadget for that part and mostly gets in my way more than anything else. I liked a lot more this time than last time too. I don't know why she bugged me last time but I was fine with her today. Tomorrow is Super Cardio but since it is an hour long and I have approximately 1 1/2 - 2 hours of "open" time (the kids are on spring break, there's no such thing as open time this week!) between 5:30 AM and 8:00 PM, I highly doubt I'm going to find a way to fit it in and I am totally fine with that. The rest of the week is starting to look more possible for fitting in workouts but tomorrow just ain't happening because I'm not doing an hour long killer cardio workout at 3:30 in the morning (correction: I'm not doing ANYTHING at 3:30 in the morning) or 8:00 at night. Darn. I just can't fit it in and it just happens that Super Cardio is up that day... darn. ;-) Off to bed. Super behind on posts but I see by the subject lines that you started on your own version of the rotation, Donna! I'll have to read about it sometime tomorrow!
