Did part of this one for the first time this morning. I think I got it from someone on Swap-A-DVD.It's a collection of circuits: 3 minutes of aerobics/cardio, 2 minutes on a body part, 1 minute abs. (Hence the name " 3-2-1. " ) There are also warm up & cool down segments and some " bonus tips " on acupressure and " moves for better sleep. " I didn't watch those.

I'm feeling a little sluggish today, so I was not at my most energetic or alert when I tried this video. My son is just getting over a cold and I'm afraid it may be trying to get me. Fight!

I did the warm up, and three of the circuits: legs, chest and butt. The other circuits are back, arms & shoulders. I started the cool down but was tired and had trouble following her so I did not finish it. This is a fault of mine, anyway. I hate to do cool down and will grab any excuse not to do anything more but walk around slowly until I stop gasping. ;-)

The warm-up seemed like 4-ish minutes of low impact aerobics. Or at least I did it in a low-impact way. There was some high-energy hopping being done by one of the back-up exercisers. Which doesn't seem like " warm up " to me, but whatever.

I found the aerobics parts a little fast. The changes in moves just pop in there with little or no description, so I often stumbled for two reps before I figured out what she was doing. It got a little frustrating. I did enjoy the aerobics part in the arms circuit because it involved boxing moves. I really need to get some more punching and kicking videos. GRRR!

I'll probably give this one another go when I feel a little more energetic. It will probably take a few repeats before I can do the cardio bits without stumbling. If the rest of it is similar to the parts I did, I'd say that it probably wouldn't be that challenging for an advanced person, but doing the whole video would definitely be good for an intermediate person. It's a challenge for a slow-ish beginner.

I'm going to try to go for a walk later. I have to wait for a UPS package that needs a signature. Meanwhile, I'm baking a cake for my son's 17th birthday. I can't believe that my one and only baby is 17.

Have a great day, everyone. And thanks again for the nice welcome, tips, encouragement, etc.!Kathy in L.A.

Hi Kathy,

Way to push through on your workout! I like Freytag and remember enjoying

this workout, too. I'm with you and though - I think I remember having

trouble following some of the cardio combos. I'm probably just stayed moving do

my own version, heh. I'm choreo-impared as well! ;)

Welcome to the group! Like the others said, sounds like you'll fit right in. :)

Congrats on your success so far!

I'm Sara in WI, 32, married with two dogs. I'm a sproadic poster, bargain

hunter, prefer strength to cardio, and like to alternate video workouts with

video free!

Looking forward to your posts!
