Guest guest
PS: was the cider vinegar u used for starter pasturized? I guess some is, if not it has to be boiled first , to deactivate Mother of Vinegar from forming. But for now i would just add,a little more distillel vinegar, or keep misting top with it. Of course i am sure if you had an acidic starter u whould have used that, just reading o's entry yesterday from (Italy) and he used cider vinegar, and is working, but taking a little longer.. to give you hope!!well Mandy this was along PS. Sorry..just not to worry, keep the spirit!Jahjet > > > > > > ...honestly, i think u are maybe a little impatient. Has it been even how long?? now, lets see, do not turn heat mat up too high, you can kill bacteria, well i am sure you knew that! You cant hurt it by waiting, and it is a natural process for it to turn sour. You did add starter liquid? right? and there is some tea in there.Make sure they get enough air, just in case the blanket is covering them and a little too snug.Only papertowell with rubberband should be covering them on top. They must be able to breath!
