Guest guest
Hi everyone: NAA will be sending a contingent of people in to the upcoming ACIP meeting. Parents are encouraged to attend and tell their stories. Date: October 25-26, 2006 Location: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 1600 Clifton Road, NE Building 19, Room 232, Auditorium B Atlanta, Georgia 30333 If you are interested in making public comment or telling your child's story to the people who regulate Thimerosal in vaccines, here is where you can register for public comment. http://www2.cdc.gov/nip/ACIP/octoberRegistration.asp It is very easy to sign up on-line and you get a security pass to print after registering. The building has security akin to the airport, although we had no problems attending the meeting. Some of us even brought our children in June. We recieved no ill-treatment as we appeared before the ACIP panel. We were given ample time to comment. We found that they actually documented our comments in the agenda notes. The AJC and other newspapers often attend these meetings as well. If you have labs, regression pictures or porphyrin testing that would be a powerful addition to your comment. The National Vaccine Information Center has a Mercury calculator that can help you tally your child's Mercury content. http://www.909shot.com/Issues/HgCalculator.htm Ideally, we would like showcase as many parent stories as possible. Detailing the enviromental impact Mercury laced vaccines has had on our families, physically, emotionally and financially. It will not be a protest. You as a taxpayer have the right to weigh in with this panel that still sanctions Thimerosal for infants and pregnant women. If you can make it, parking is very easy at the CDC. The CDC is located in a safe section of town away from the inner city. It is completely gated and the parking is right next to the building utilized for ACIP. The Emory Inn is located directly across the street for anyone needing to stay overnight. The agenda on the ACIP page prints the public comment time,it is usually right at the end of the day both days. If you have questions or need help preparing a presentation please give us a call. The message is clear: Our kids got hundreds of times over the EPA allowable amount of Mercury in their infant vaccines, they clearly are suffering from it...we are not going away.
